Gas pipeline blown up in Peshawar

Suspected militants blew up a gas pipeline at Ring Road in the limits of Bana Mani police station here on Wednesday.
The blast caused suspension of supply of natural gas to many localities of Peshawar including Hayatabad. The blast had taken place for the second time in the area as the same pipeline had been blown up two years ago, said DSP Tariq Khan. An official of Bomb Disposal Squad said that abut one kilogram explosives were used in the blast.

Unknown men blew up a gas pipeline on Ring Road within the jurisdiction of the Bana Marhi police station in Peshawar on Wednesday morning.
Police said that the main supply line of natural gas which connects Hyatabad to the city was blown up by unknown terrorists. “A low intensity bomb had been attached to the line which exploded, creating a hole in the pipeline,” said local SHO Bashirdad while talking to The Express Tribune.
3 injured in Peshawar blast

A blast near the residence of Pakistan People’s Party-Sherpao leader Malik Nadeem on Tuesday injured three people in Peshawar. According to reports, unidentified miscreants planted explosive material on Dilazak Road in Faisal Colony near the hujra of the PPP-S local leader and later detonated it with a remote-controlled device. Security and rescue officials reached the site and cordoned off the area immediately after the incident.
Brothers among four shot dead in Peshawar

Four persons including two brothers were killed while another sustained serious injuries when unidentified assailants opened firing on their car on Charsadda Road here on Sunday.
The victims were gur traders and were on their way to market in a taxicab early in the morning when the assassins ambushed them. Two real brothers — Jan Mohammad and Akhtar Munir — were among the killed persons, sources said.
FIA employee killed on property dispute

A personal assistant of deputy director FIA has been killed in Deer colony of Peshawar on dispute of property.
According to the police unknown gunmen opened the fire on FIA official Syed Iftikhar who sustained injuries and died later on. The widow of deceased has filed report in Pahar poori police station. Police told after initial investigations that Syed Iftikhar was PA to deputy director and was appointed at Peshawar airport. Iftikhar has been killed on the dispute of property, police further said.
Peshawar ring road blast kills police official

A blast trageting a police vehicle patrolling on Peshawar ring road killed one official and injured four others.
According to SP City Asif Iqbal, a vehicle from the Banamari police station was on routine patrol when a bomb detonated. Due to the blast sub-inspector Ali Hazrat was killed while three other officials were injured. The injured included Shahid, Imtiaz and Mir Zali. A passerby, 12 year old Zaman too was injured by the blast.
Peshawar bomb kills 4 cops

Four police personnel including a sub-inspector were killed and two others seriously injured when an explosive device hit a police van on Kohat Road here on Tuesday evening.
The blast occurred when the police vehicle was on a routine patrolling on Kohat Road. The explosion caused fear and panic across the area and large number of people rushed to the site. The blast badly damaged the police vehicle which resulted in killing of four police personnel and injuring of two others seriously.
Two policemen killed in Peshawar blast

A bomb planted in a rickshaw killed two policemen, including a sub-inspector, and wounded five other people on Tuesday, when a police van was targeted on Ring Road, administration officials said.
Sub-inspector Hazrat Ali and constable Husain Khan were killed while five other people were injured in the explosion, Peshawar District Coordination Officer Siraj Ahmed told the media at the attack site.
2 students hurt in Peshawar University clash

The sources said that the activists of Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) and PSF-Azad attacked each other with sticks and iron rods.
“Police arrested four students and found alcohol, pistols and other weapons during a search operation in the hostel of the university,” the sources added.
Celebrated SP killed in Peshawar suicide bombing

In yet another attack on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, Superintendent of Police (SP), Rural, Peshawar, Kalam Khan, was killed when a suicide bomber detonated himself near Khanís official vehicle on the Ring Road, Pishtakhara Chowk, on Thursday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Operations, Peshawar, Tahir Ayub, told reporters that SP Kalam Khan lost his life in the attack while two other cops in his vehicle were wounded. The wounded policemen included SP Kalam Khan’s driver, Liaqat, and gunman Hidayat. An unidentified passer-by was also injured. They were all taken to the Hayatabad Medical Complex and Lady Reading Hospital for treatment.
